I couldn't tell you the first time I saw a character in a game and immediately fell in love with it thanks to its character design. I've probably shared my opinions on thousands of little critters over the years without really knowing what makes them so appealing to me. There's just something about this style that I simply cannot get enough of. If there's a little guy involved in it somewhere, there's probably me cheering it on.

To me, 'little guy' is a fairly broad term. It generally refers to smaller characters with a notable energy around them, but the details are definitely up to the individual. For me, my favourite little guys don't even have to be cute, just endearing in their own ways. Even if they don't show any deep personality.
