The ink must flow in top-down action game InKing, where you play as an inkwell with an attitude and a deadly fountain pen. By attacking, you leave loads of ink on the floor, but this is the fuel for your special moves. Slather the stuff around each boxy arena, then hoover it up to pull off ink-based attacks. If Splatoon ever gets a Hades-style spinoff, it will look a lot like this.

But that central gimmick does make InKing feel fresh. As well as trying to create space, and close it, as you dash away from, then wail on your enemies, you also have to remember to splodge ink all over the carpet. More ink means more powerful special moves, but it takes a while to cover the whole dang floor, so a better tactic might be to spill little and often.
