After a two-year hiatus, the LUCI Award contest has made a return for its fifth year!

Put on by PlaytestNW and the Evergreen Tabletop Expo (ETX), The LUCI Award is an annual contest that recognizes indie game designers who have not yet published a game. The contest opens for submissions in April and a selection of those entries are chosen to showcase during ETX in June.

With the last two years moving most playtesting opportunities online, and the community of testers growing to include people far outside of the Pacific Northwest region, so too did interest in the LUCI awards spread. Over half of the game designers showcased in the awards this year traveled from out of state to compete.
