Being an electronics engineer by profession and a photographer, he possesses a unique and deep insight into the technical aspects of digital photography and equipment. He has published more than a 100 articles on photography and some of his writings have also been published in the well-known international magazine Popular Photography. An avid collector of photographic books and vintage cameras, Ashok has a keen interest in the history of photography and a passion for sharing his knowledge on photography through teaching and writing. There are many features hidden away in the menus of your complex camera. Plus, there are some small buttons/dials on the camera body without proper labeling. Most of us who are already vexed with the increasingly complicated cameras with manuals running to a thousand pages, generally ignore them due to lack of time and if things are going on ok, why overload ourselves with even more features? However, some of these are quite useful and can make things easier for us. Apart from that, we have already paid for them so why not use those features? Here is a partial list of such features, along with a brief explanation.
