Now based in Scotland, she was raised in the south of England, where she studied art and photography. THE APPRENTICE IAN WILLIAMSON CAMERA: NIKON D750 

Recently retired Ian was inspired to take photography more seriously following a chance encounter with a pod of orcas while on a cruise – a fellow passenger’s ‘proper’ camera prompted him to upgrade his Nikon 1 J1, and he’s now a camera club member and the proud owner of a Nikon D750. Ian enjoys landscape photography, but with a degree in plant biology he’s looking for some tips to help him take betters images of flowers and gardens.
