"This photograph was taken at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Superior, Arizona, USA. I saw this northern cardinal in a tree with the bird standing out from the green leaves - I hadn't seen a cardinal in the area in a long time. The bird was jumping around from branch to branch in the tree, so I had to wait for a clean shot. Suddenly it settled in a clearing, where I was able to take this photo." Instagram: @jonathon_isola
