Those who know me or have been part of my journey at some point, know and understand my love for being one with nature. A natural extension of this emotion was my wandering spirit which propelled me to travel, compost, hike through dense forests and endure challenging trekking terrains. Even as a mum, I encourage my children to trek ever too often. But the thought occurred to me one day-why do I take my kids trekking?
