Stress and pressure due to work and the lifestyle changes that the pandemic has brought

"The alarm goes off at 7 am. My eyes are burning as I was up working until 1.00 am at night. But still, I have no choice but to wake up. I woke my kids up and they were tired as well.
They dreaded attending the online class. The stress of sitting still in front of a camera and mindlessly following the lessons was seemingly getting over their heads. They got freshened up, had a quick breakfast and sat before their respective classes, or rather devices. I rushed to the other room, wore a shirt over my pajama and sat for the day's meeting."
Does this scenario seem familiar as you read it? Well then yes, you have perfectly fitted yourself into the new normal. This pandemic has led us to a situation where we have no choice but to get used to staying at home day and night. Though offices, education institutes and other organizations stood stunned for a few months, slowly everyone adapted to the changes and began to move on. Still, the stress and pressure due to work and lifestyle changes that the pandemic has brought along are really hard to tackle.
We are social beings and the pain of being locked up is too much for us to bear. Well, it is true that we need not take the pains of getting ready for work, packing lunch for our kids, and sending them off to school. But this pandemic has made us sit with work all the time without any work-life balance. We have let our job peep into the windows of our kitchen, not leaving any room for our privacy. The almost thin line that we have drawn in between family and work has slowly vanished before our eyes.
