A sacred roller-coaster: The journey to becoming a mom!

|July-Sept 2022
Parenting of a child starts on the day the woman (mother) conceives them. The feeling of being a mother is the content of happiness of giving birth to a bundle of joy.
A father, too, is an equal partner in parenting. The moment a woman shares the news about her pregnancy with the father of the child, he feels fortunate and, to an extent, contended with his life. His generation name and legacy are going to be continued through a new life, which is a symbol of love between the two.
The journey of parenthood is nowadays a planned one though, for few, it is still unplanned and is being thought of as a gift of God. Yes, it is rightly said that the Almighty blesses us by giving us the happiness of being called ‘Mom’ and ‘Dad’.
The institution of marriage was started not only for the physical fulfillment of humans but also to start the next generation. It is regarded as the most blissful journey of having two souls combining together to create a new soul.
The path of the new soul is defined by the way the mother takes care of it. The day she conceives, a feeling that a life is growing in her body is what makes her conscious of the different patterns of life. She begins controlling her ways of life, from the way she walks to the food to her smoking or drinking style. She even stops wearing heels. We have seen so many mothers having eating issues during pregnancies and suffering from multiple mood swings and I would say that even a father has to check it out. But, most significantly, it is the thought that sunshine is going to be a part of life, which they would see smiling in their arms in a span of nine months.
