What began as an intimate circle of creatives has, in just a year, grown into a dynamic community —welcoming artists, hobbyists, and even those simply seeking a space to be seen.At the heart of this momentum is Thumbnail Gallery, a contemporary artist-run space founded in 2024 by Miles Villanueva and Gab Baez. The gallery embraces its scale rather than resists it. Its very size became the foundation of its curatorial identity.

When Thumbnail Gallery opened on February 28, 2025 at 2F Village Corner, Ortigas Avenue Extension, in Antipolo City, its inaugural exhibition, "Inching Forward," challenged artists to present 4 x 4-inch works — "thumbnails" that encapsulate the essence of their broader artistic practice.
