Thunderbirds are still go at 60 – and isn't that just F-A-B

Cult TV show's futuristic vision endures, six decades on...

Sixty years after it first blasted onto British TV screens, Thunderbirds are once again go.

Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's pioneering Supermarionation series debuted on September 30, 1965, introducing viewers to the Tracy brothers, their futuristic machines, and the shadowy world of International Rescue.

But while the show's original run barely lasted a year, six decades on, the series continues to inspire generations - and its milestone anniversary is being marked with a host of celebrations.

Central to the festivities is a brand-new Blu-ray release, with each of the 32 episodes that aired between 1965 and 1966 lovingly remastered from the original 35mm film elements.
