Reds will reject sweetener to Guehi deal, as Blues' bid for Lopez snubbed

Liverpool are still looking to bring Marc Guehi to Anfield this summer before the transfer window slams shut in just a matter of hours.

The Reds have identified their backline as an area in need of improvement and Guehi is a target they have been linked with for months now.

The England international is now well into the final 12 months of his contract at Selhurst Park and has shown no signs of wanting to sign a new deal. Steve Parish is now reportedly trying to push Guehi in the direction of Liverpool to avoid losing him for free next summer.
