Curl up with your favorite paperback or dive into a new world between those soft, portable pages and take some time away from the hectic real world.

That's a perfect way to celebrate Paperback Book Day which is observed on July 30, the anniversary of the date that the first Penguin paperbacks were published in England 90 years ago.

Paperback books existed prior to 1935 but they were cheap and of poor quality.
