The UK's obsession with Labubu dolls has reached fever pitch and criminals have been quick to capitalise.

With official stock selling out in minutes, a thriving black market has emerged, offering everything from too-good-to-be-true deals online to suspicious stalls at weekend markets.

Counterfeit versions, nicknamed “Lafufus” by fans, are now widespread, leaving thousands of collectors disappointed. And experts warn these fakes aren’t just worthless to collectors; some could be hazardous.
