The cast - Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore and Ali Larterof the Landman are back for the second series - a Dallas for the 21st century

They may not be called JR, Bobby, Sue Ellen and Pam - but this family is soaked in the Texas oil business.

Thornton plays Tommy Norris in the gritty and dark drama.

"If they found another way to transport oil underwater tomorrow, the oil guys would get into the water business. It's not that they worship oil; they're businessmen," said Thornton, whose previous roles include Fargo, Goliath and Bad Santa.
