Nero fiddled while Rome burned. Inspired by his example the Conservative and Reform UK parties have jettisoned Net Zero and gone for Net Nero.

Science is emphatic, our climate's fragile life support system is at stake.

Enough extreme weather, and you mangle global agriculture and food and water supplies.

Already parts of the world will become uninhabitable in a few decades.
