Feelgood shopping at charity's new high street store in Ilkley

On Tuesday, Leeds Hospitals Charity joined the high street in Ilkley, with the opening of its biggest store yet.

The charity now has five shops across the region, following the opening of stores in Horsforth and Guiseley earlier this year.

The shop - in The Grove, next to Betty's Tearoom - will be open seven days a week, thanks to the support of dedicated volunteers and staff. It has a modern feel and is set over two floors, selling a wide range of items, from pre-loved fashion to homeware items, bric-a-brac and more.

The charity has also created a community hub within the shop, providing a place with comfy seating and a coffee machine where customers to take a break from shopping, enjoy a hot drink and chat to staff, volunteers or their friends and family.
