All workers must upskill in Al or risk getting left behind

AI is transforming how many people work and has great potential to improve productivity and performance. However, it also risks leaving some workers behind.

Our latest Labour Market Outlook highlights this concern, revealing that one in six employers (17 per cent) expect AI to reduce the size of their workforce over the next year, with junior roles most at risk.

The research - based on a survey of more than 2,000 employers about their hiring, redundancy and pay plans-shows that almost two-thirds (62 per cent) of those anticipating job losses believe clerical, junior managerial, professional or administrative roles are most vulnerable to automation.
