CALEB
Watts is poised to return to action for Plymouth Argyle after more than three months out with a significant hamstring injury.Head coach Tom Cleverley has even not ruled out the possibility of the 23-year-old midfielder being involved in the Boxing Day game against Reading at Home Park this afternoon.
Cleverley is also hoping to have Julio Pleguezuelo available for this afternoon’s fixture after the defender sat out the 5-1 win away to Doncaster Rovers last Saturday due to a swollen knee.
Tegan Finn and Jamie Paterson were both ruled out against Doncaster due to hamstring and calf injuries respectively, but neither are considered serious.
Finn could be in contention for the visit of Wycombe Wanderers on Monday, December 29)while the New Year's Day match away to Stevenage is the target for Paterson.
Argyle will be without Owen Dale for a couple of months, though, after a scan last Friday revealed he suffered ankle ligament damage during the 1-0 home win against Rotherham United on December 13.
