Tiverton kids offer hope for the future

TIVERTON Town's first team might not be pulling up trees right now, but their Under-18s side are the talk of the town after reaching round two of the FA Youth Cup in midweek.
Coached by Paul Harris, who doubles up as coach of South West Peninsula League side Crediton United, the young Yellows beat Newport County on penalty kicks, following a 2-2 draw, to book a second round clash with Cambridge United, which will be played at Ladysmead on Tuesday, November 18.
“I've coached most of the lads for years, to be honest,’ Harris said. “There's a lot of ex-academy lads that come out of the (Exeter City and Plymouth Argyle) academy that are a bit down, so we are bringing them back up, coaching them for a number of years now and bringing them all back together.
