A WESTCOUNTRY MP has pledged her backing to one of the country's oldest disability charities after seeing firsthand the challenges faced by residents and staff.

Rebecca Smith, MP for South West Devon, made her first visit to Dame Hannahs in Ivybridge where she toured the site with directors James Derrick and Wayne Fulton, and trustee Nigel Godefroy.
