Historic Oasis recording studio on sale for £1.95m

THE renowned Westcountry recording studio which helped to catapult Britpop icons Oasis towards superstardom has been put up for sale.
The Old Sawmills is the secluded Cornish studio where the Mancunian rockers - currently on their long-awaited and much heralded reunion tour - recorded their landmark 1994 debut album, Definitely Maybe.
The property, nestled in a secluded creek off the River Fowey, is steeped in musical history and is now being offered for sale through estate agency Stags with a guide price of £1,950,000.
Set within 32 acres of ancient woodland and accessible only by boat or on foot, The Old Sawmills offers seclusion and natural beauty alongside a rare rock'n'roll heritage.
