Helping children with rare illnesses

CHILDREN with rare diseases in the UK could benefit from faster diagnosis and better treatments thanks to a new initiative.

KidsRare will aim to provide researchers with access to data from different hospitals on youngsters living with a rare disease.

The platform is being developed by Great Ormond Street Hospital (Gosh) and LifeArc in collaboration with the Children's Hospital Alliance (CHA).
