Colourful SW carnival draws wide audience

THE North Petherton Carnival 2025 - one of seven illuminated carnivals in the Somerset County Guy Fawkes Carnival Association - attracted entries from Somerset, Dorset, Devon, and Wiltshire, with spectators from Wales, Cornwall, the Home Counties, the Midlands, Manchester, and Yorkshire.
The rain held off for the event and many were able to enjoy the spectacle, which saw both Ramblers and Huckyduck Carnival Clubs make it four wins as they were crowned winners at last Saturday's procession,
