Kane began this season by starting the first eight League One games for Huddersfield before suffering a groin injury.

He returned to training last month but first team opportunities were going to be limited under new Terriers’ boss Liam Manning so the loan move to Argyle made sense all round.

“I feel fit and ready,’ he said. “It’s building the minutes up. I have been training for a while now, it’s about getting the games in. I'm buzzing to be back playing and looking forward to the rest of the season.”

On his style of play, Kane said: “I like getting on the ball, I like trying to help the team progress up the pitch. I’m not really one of them players that will play every safe pass, I like to risk the ball. I think that’s what I will bring to the team.”
