Stellar line-up a literary feast for festival fans

FROM global bestsellers to TV favourites, a literary feast is coming to Somerset this autumn as Yeovil Literary Festival unveils its 2025 programme.
The festival officially runs from Friday, October 17 to Monday, October 27, bringing a stellar lineup of authors, speakers and creatives to venues across Yeovil, including Westlands Entertainment Venue, Yeovil Library, St John's Church and Waterstones.
Sebastian Faulks, (inset), author of Birdsong, is set to appear on Wednesday, October 22 at St John’s Church to discuss his latest novel Fires Which Burned Brightly.
Among the other headline names for this year’s festival:
Jung Chang, author of Wild Swans, will appear on Friday, October 24 at 2pm at Westlands Ballroom, offering a personal account spanning three generations of women in 20th-century China.
