It's no use thinking maize will be the saviour of the livestock industry... There is more money to be had producing power than in producing livestock

WHEN we moved house I thought I would be a good packer. I was at first, but I was too slow. I had to look at everything or read it and at halfway I got caught up in the frenzy of it all. I found things I thought I'd lost and things that I used to use every day, I can't find them anywhere.

A big part of moving is telling everyone your new address and it has given me the chance to scrutinise some of the bills. I admit I've been a bit slack on this but in the past I've worried about paying the big bills, such as animal feed, and the smaller bills were never a problem. Bills like satellite TV. We watch a fair bit of Sky TV. I can't understand why there's such a stigma to it. Why is it seen as some sort of easy option? To my mind the ability to record is the most important facility and I record lots of nature and travel programmes and I watch them if I have time.
