Wife murderer's sentencing hearing adjourned

THE sentencing hearing of a man who murdered his estranged wife has been adjourned.

Paria Veisi, 37, was found dead at an address in Cardiff.

Originally from Iran, she had last been seen driving a black Mercedes car on April 12 after leaving work at around 3pm.

Alireza Askari, 42, was due to be sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court yesterday, but the hearing has now been adjourned until March 12.
