We'll be ready to take on world, insists Tandy

STEVE Tandy says Wales will be a transformed Rugby World Cup outfit ready to spring some upsets.
Despite currently being ranked 12th, Wales have received a favourable World Cup draw with England, Tonga and Zimbabwe in their pool.
Wales endured a tough autumn campaign with just one win out of four Test matches, which culminated in a humiliating 73-0 home defeat to South Africa.
This is only Tandy’s first campaign in charge of Wales, but he is confident they will be a difficult team to beat at the 2027 World Cup in Australia.
“You want to be a team that no-one wants to play,” he said. “We've got to grow our game so that we can go there with ambition.
“I believe in this group and where they can go. They will gain experience over the next two years and develop.
“Over a two-year period there are 14 or 15 games and we are looking at how we can get more out of things.
“How we spend time with individuals and as a group, how we get the best out of experiences and have that preseason feel from camp before the World Cup is important.
