WALES WAIT ON FALETAU INJURY

STEVE Tandy is sweating on the fitness of Taulupe Faletau after the star No. 8 limped out of Cardiff's game against Edinburgh on Saturday.

Faletau left the Arms Park field just minutes into the United Rugby Championship clash with Edinburgh, which the home side edged 20-19.

It has handed Wales head coach Tandy a huge injury worry just as he steps up preparations for the autumn series, where his side face Argentina, Japan, New Zealand and South Africa.

Faletau was named in Tandy's 39-man squad last week. Also included are Aaron Wainwright and Morgan Morse, who can both operate at No. 8 should Faletau fail to recover.

Faletau signed a new contract with Cardiff last May after playing just eight times in an injury-hit 2024-25 campaign.
