Sword drawn in 'Wild West' fight

A MAN brandished a sword in the street in terrifying scenes which a judge said were more reminiscent of the Wild West than west Wales in the 21st century.
Michel Valmont wielded the weapon as he a joined a disturbance in the middle of Pembroke Dock on a summer afternoon, an appearance which caused members of the public to fear for their safety.
Craig Jones, prosecuting, told Swansea Crown Court that on the afternoon of June 15, 2024, police received multiple reports about males fighting on Pembroke Street in Pembroke Dock.
He said that as the men were brawling a third dressed in black - Valmont - was seen to emerge from a nearby property armed with a samurai sword and was seen to chase the other males. The prosecutor said members of the public were “understandably concerned”.
The court heard that the two fighting males - Stephen Charge and Trevor Herridge - were still brawling when officers arrived and they were arrested.
