Social care must be made a priority

CARERS are essential. In Wales, some estimate that around 500,000 people care for the most vulnerable members of our society, both in paid and unpaid capacities. We cannot underestimate the impact they have onthe health and wellbeing of our nation.

This is why, backin February, [ensured that my budget deal with the Welsh Government included an additional £30m for social care.
