Sash window firm sale trebles BGF’s £18m investment

CARMARTHENSHIRE sash window manufacturer Victorian Sliders is under new ownership after a £60m deal.
The business has been acquired by Inwido, listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm market and one of Europe's largest window manufacturers.
The acquisition provides a 3.2 times return on investment for investor BGF (formerly the Business Growth Fund) after its initial £14m equity investment in 2021 and a £4m follow on injection in 2023.
Victorian Sliders has delivered significant growth from its headquarters in Ammanford to become the UK’s largest manufacturer and supplier of uPVC sliding sash windows.
The company’s revenues have risen from £19m in the year before BGF’s investment to £33m.
