IT'S safe to say the world of Welsh politics is still reeling after a poll released on Tuesday evening showed Labour has, in the words of one political commentator, "cratered".

The ripples are being felt through the party, with some serious soul searching taking place, and maybe too late, questions about what they can do to turn things around.

On the other end of the spectrum is Plaid Cymru. The party, which is 100 years old this year, is on the cusp of its greatest electoral achievement - should the polls prove right.
