HERE could be more to come from Coral Welsh Grand National favourite Jubilee Express according to Sam Thomas, who is eyeing a second triumph in Chepstow's main event this month.

Jubilee Express, far right, came second in last year's Welsh Grand National at Chepstow

Thomas landed the £170,000 feature in 2021 with Iwilldoit, whose preparation included victory in the Chepstow trial that took place on Saturday and was landed by Jubilee Express, who is the general 6-1 market leader for the Welsh National on December 27.

The mount of Lorcan Williams, Jubilee Express was second behind Val Dancer in the Welsh National last year and looks poised for another bold show following his victory over the weekend.

He was sent straight into the lead by the Tenby-born Williams, who went on to complete a double on Princess Day in the bumper, and made all to beat Collectors Item, who would also have a chance in the upcoming historic marathon.
