Man took 'fatal levels' of painkiller for toothache

A 34-year-old man died after consuming “fatal levels of paracetamol” to self-medicate for toothache.

Jack Samson Edwards-Thomas, from Powys, had also been using the opioid painkiller codeine in the days before his death, an inquest at Pontypridd coroner's court heard.
Mr Edwards-Thomas, of Llandrindod Wells, was found unresponsive on August 29 last year.
He had a known history of using “illicit” drugs, said coroner Patricia Morgan.
