Huge mural shines light on Prince of Darkness

A MASSIVE Ozzy Osbourne mural has been painted on the side of a Wales record shop.
Kenny Kendrick credits the Prince of Darkness, who died in July at the age of 76, with changing the trajectory of his life.
“I’ll never forget hearing Ozzy’s voice for the first time,” he said.
Kenny, owner of Kenny's Vinyl Vaults in Abertillery, Blaenau Gwent, said listening to rock icons Black Sabbath at 13 years old opened up a whole new world to him. He subsequently became a drummer, went on tour with several different bands, and ultimately set up his popular community-oriented record store.
He saw Ozzy perform solo eight times and as part of Black Sabbath twice.
Kenny remembered the very first time he listened to Ozzy: “When I was 13, that’s when I really discovered music and the band that changed my life was Black Sabbath. I heard War Pigs for the first time ever when I was about 13 and that totally changed the trajectory of my life.
“That's when I started to get into heavy metal music. I was transfixed in that world and it opened such a world up for me that I didn’t even know existed.
