Edwards was a key figure in Warren Gatland’s coaching setup, helping turn Wales into the top side in Europe for a number of years.
He also created a formidable defensive structure which made Wales difficult to break down.
Now Edwards is in charge of France's defence and was on the sidelines at the Principality Stadium on Sunday as his side tore Wales to shreds, running in eight tries in a 54-12 triumph.
These are dark days for Wales, whose winless run in the Six Nations dates back to 2023. They have lost 23 of their last 25 Test matches, with only two wins over Japan breaking that sequence of defeats.
