DALEY DOUBLE ENDS COFIS' UNBEATEN RUN

|September 22, 2025
NOAH Daley built a large reputation for himself as a goalscorer in the JD Cymru South at Carmarthen Town, and now he is transferring his talents to the top tier of Welsh football.
-
His summer switch to Penybont may have gone slightly under the radar, but his two goals in taking down Caernarfon Town's unbeaten record ina 2-1 away victory underlined what a great signing Rhys Griffiths made.
‘The 23-year-old has now scored seven goals in six league outings and two more in the Nathaniel MG Cup.
Last season he scored 24 league goals for the Old Gold.
Only Caernarfon’s Adam Davies has scored more Cymru Premier goals this season with eight.
“It’s a massive result for us,’ said Daley. “Those are the type of wins I love.
“The conditions didn’t help but we got the job done.
“We went into the game with a game plan for the conditions and we executed it.
“The boys have been amazing since I came in. It feels like a step up but I’ve got on well with the boys and the manager.”
Daley's first goal broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute as he picked up a headed clearance from a corner on the edge of the penalty area, drove past a defender and then smashed the ball past Connor Roberts in the home goal from an acute angle.
