Creditor vote on River Island plan

CLOTHING retailer River Island has taken the first step to avoid administration after a High Court judge ruled that restructuring plans could be put to creditors for approval.

River Island Holdings (RIH) - which is the holding company for four subsidiaries, including River Island Clothing Co and River Island Fashion - is looking for extra funding from creditors to keep the business afloat.
