Aldi aiming to hit 500-store milestone for solar installations

MORE than 500 Aldi stores could have solar power by the end of the year, the supermarket said, as it announced a fresh wave of installations.

The retailer said it has already installed panels at 470 UK stores but hopes to roll out the renewable technology at 62 more stores in 2026.

This could include stores in Stratford-upon-Avon, Maghull, Northampton and Wrexham in the near future, it said.
