CLAIRE’S, the high street retailer known for its wide range of jewellery and accessories, has filed for administration in the UK, placing more than 2,000 jobs in jeopardy. The company operates 278 stores across the UK, including 12 in Wales.

While no closure dates have been confirmed, the company said stores will remain open as it explores “the best possible path forward”.

However, according to its website, Claire's is no longer accepting online orders or issuing refunds.
