West MP slams utilities giant

A WILTSHIRE MP has criticised utilities giant Thames Water, slamming its poor customer service, rising bills, and lack of accountability.

In an early day motion tabled in Parliament Sarah Gibson, the MP for Chippenham, has criticised the “ongoing mismanagement of Thames Water in Wiltshire” and called for the company to be placed into special administration.

That would allow the government to step in and ensure the delivery of services while a long-term solution to the company’s financial difficulties is found.
