Vyner most at risk for City as card tally grows

Bristol City and Gerhard Struber will be hoping to avoid losing any players to suspension for reaching five bookings over the course of the coming weeks, given their current injury woes, with a handful of matchdays still to come before the threshold resets.

- DANIEL CARTER

Rob Dickie is the only City player to have missed a match through suspension so far this term. The defender was forced to sit out the Robins’ opening day thrashing of Sheffield United at Bramall Lane as he served the final match of his ban, having been shown a red card in the first leg of last season’s playoff semifinal against the Blades.

This term, the Reds are yet to receive a red card, and ahead of the weekend's trip to Stoke City, no one has quite yet met the tally of yellow cards needed to warrant a one-game suspension. Players who pick up five bookings before or during the 19th matchday of the league campaign will be handed a one-match ban across all three divisions of the EFL.
