Rovers loan Sercombe to the Seagulls

NON-LEAGUE PREVIEW

FOREST Green Rovers midfielder Liam Sercombe has joined National League South side Weston-super-Mare on loan.

‘The 33-year-old has made just one appearance under Rovers boss Robbie Savage this season, coming on at halftime in the National League Cup defeat to West Bromwich Albion Under-21s.

‘The attacking midfielder was a prominent part of last season’s third-placed finish under Steve Cotterill in the National League, and the subsequent playoff semifinal defeat to Southend United, in which he missed the vital penalty in the shootout.
