Restaurant sorry after contractor dumped rubbish in country lane

A BRISTOL restaurant has apologised after a contractor it hired to dispose of rubbish was caught fly-tipping it on a quiet country lane.

Waste, including cooking oil containers and takeaway boxes, was dumped on Conham Hill in Hanham at some point over the weekend. The label on one bag amongst the pile identified it as having come from Cappadocia, a successful Turkish restaurant in the centre of Bristol. A spokesperson for the restaurant said they had employed a private contract
