A PUB in the Southmead area of Bristol was due to reopen its doors with a new name last night.

A VIP soft launch event was due to take place to celebrate the new name of what was the Treble Chance Pub, before it opens under new owners at the weekend.

It was announced in April that the pub was to close for six weeks to undergo a £415,000 transformation before reopening as ‘The Union Arms’.
