Necklace with a star-studded past up for sale

A PEARL necklace that rubbed shoulders with Elvis Presley is expected to sell for thousands at auction later this month.
The necklace, pictured inset, was purchased by then up-and-coming actress Suzanna Leigh in 1962 on the King’s Road in London.
Shortly afterwards she acted in her first television role, which led to her being cast as Elvis's love interest, June 'Friday' Hudson, in the 1966 film Paradise, Hawaiian Style.
It is going under the hammer at Auctioneum in Bristol on June 30 and is expected to attract world-wide interest.
In the movie, Elvis plays ex-airline pilot Rick Richards who, along with his buddy Danny Kohana, decides to set up a helicopter charter business in Hawaii.
