makes trio of new appointments

SOUTH West chamber of commerce Business West has appointed three new non-executive directors to its board.

Ed Rowberry, Kate Westbrook and Alistair Colston will help set the chamber's strategic and investment priorities, and will represent the interests of members in Bristol, Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire.

The trio will also chair their respective region’s Local Advisory Committee, which will seek feedback to inform local-based and wider regional strategies.

The appointments come ahead of the arrival of the chamber's new chief executive who will start next spring. The organisation’s current managing director, Phil Smith, announced his retirement in September.
