Ellison strikes for Shots in Wembley win

BRISTOL Rovers may have been relegated from League One this season - but young defender Dan Ellison finished the season on a high with a goal for loan club Aldershot in their 3-0 FA Trophy final victory over Spennymoor at Wembley at the weekend, writes Daniel Hargraves.
Jack Barham put the National League outfit into the lead early in the second half before Ellison scored a clever header with 19 minutes remaining. Ex-Rovers man Josh Barrett then scored a fantastic third to seal victory.
Alongside Ellison and Barrett, Aldershot have a notable Rovers influence with former director of football Tommy Widdrington the manager, while Cam Hargreaves, Ryan Jones, Theo Widdrington
